Aditya Mendiratta is an Indian photographer and director working across portraiture, advertising, and commercial photography.

Originally trained as a software engineer, Aditya left the corporate world in 2011 to pursue photography full-time. Largely self-taught, his approach has been shaped by experimentation, music, and an instinctive understanding of rhythm, light, and human behaviour.

In 2012, his work received international recognition when a portrait from Spiti Valley won the Jet Airways Travel Award and was featured in National Geographic. He is an invite-only member of Nikon Professional Services (NPS) and has conducted workshops and collaborations with Nikon and cultural platforms including the Meghalaya Government’s 18 Degrees Festival.

Over the years, Aditya has worked with leading brands, public figures, and institutions, while continuing to develop personal work alongside commissioned projects. 

He is based between Mumbai and Delhi.
