Aditya Mendiratta is a commercial photographer, specialising in fashion, portrait, and corporate photography, with a clean, minimalistic style. After shooting music concerts as a hobby for two years, Aditya resigned in 2011 from his corporate job at Accenture, to pursue photography as a profession. With no formal training, he refined his experimental approach, by a self-designed learning programme, understanding the different photographic techniques.
Since his first award-winning portrait in Spiti Valley in 2012, his work has been featured in numerous national and international magazines, dailies and blogs, including National Geographic, Deccan Chronicle, Sydney Morning Herald and 500px. His portfolio consists of several renowned brands in the advertising, commercial and fashion Industries, among projects that are rooted in social awareness.
Based in New Delhi, he is currently working on two photo series – one on domestic violence, the other on Indian army soldiers.
